Risk Factors

Treatment/Management
Currently there is no known definite cure for ARMD yet. However, there are ways to control and manage the conditions which are:
Dry ARMD:
• Nutritional supplements
• Smoking cessation
• Regular eye examinations
Anti-VEGF injection
• Aimed to stop the abnormal blood vessels growth
Wet ARMD:
• Anti-VEGF: aimed to stop the abnormal blood vessels growth
• Laser therapy
• Photodynamic therapy
• Monitoring and follow-up
