Signs and Symptoms
Gradual central vision loss
Distorted and wavy vision (metamorphopsia)
Micropsia

Risk Factors
Age
Family history
High blood pressure (hypertension)
Smoking (doubles the risk)
Dietary fat intake
Lifestyle (obesity and sedentary lifestyle)

Treatment/Management
Currently there is no known definite cure for ARMD yet. However, there are ways to control and manage the conditions which are:
Course of eye drops
- Nutritional supplements
- Smoking cessation
- Regular eye examinations
Anti-VEGF injection
Aimed to stop the abnormal blood vessels growth
Wet ARMD:

- Laser therapy
